The MainStream Wrestling Mat Mechanics Training Camp produc

The MainStream Wrestling Mat Mechanics Training Camp produces our industry's future stars. Based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, our fundamentally-sound training curriculum is designed to teach students properly, beginning with a vast knowledge of the basics and progressing onward. At our camp, students learn all aspects of the wrestling game, and when ready, they begin competing in MainStream Wrestling, Atlantic Canada's #1 pro wrestling promotion.

Professional wrestling is one of the most physically and mentally demanding sports there is. It is NOT for everyone. Some of it may look easy on TV, but it certainly isn't. The reality is, for every 20 people that try out, maybe 2 or 3 make it to the first class. It takes a very special individual to become a pro wrestler, and a successful one at that. You must have 100% dedication and possess a great deal of mental and physical strength, perseverance, and most importantly, you HAVE to have HEART. You must have a will to succeed. If you do not possess these important attributes, then professional wrestling is not for you. You must be willing to make a lot of personal and professional sacrifices to make your dream come true. Are you prepared to fully commit your body and mind to wrestling? Are you willing to take substantial amounts of time away from your family life? These are things you must consider. If you feel you are ready, then by all means, contact us today! Although it takes a lot of effort, being involved in the world of professional wrestling can be a very rewarding experience on many levels. However, you must first conduct and successfully complete an in-ring try-out before being accepted into the camp.

The try-out consists of rigorous drills designed to test you physically and mentally to see if you have what it takes to survive in the ring. Are you trainable? Do you show any signs of potential? Well tell you at the conclusion of your try-out. The try-out could save both you and the trainers a lot of time, energy, and money. If you pass, you are then enrolled in the school. The course lasts up to 6 months or longer, depending on the level of the particular student's progress. Almost everyone advances at a different level in our camp. You must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
